About Us

We Stand Out

WE'RE NOT BIG FANS OF MEDIOCRITY

Our Mission

We are committed to improving the daily lives of everyone we meet, while leaving every place or situation better than we found it. Our goal is to help everyone we work with be happier. It’s not just a business philosophy, it’s our way of life.

History

Founded in 2020, Lost City Consulting LLC is a group of industry professionals with over 50 years combined experience in producing large public events. Previously, we’ve worked directly with local event suppliers and volunteers to imagine, market and organize city-wide, multi-day festivals for thousands of daily and overnight conference guests in LA County and the Bay Area.

Everyone on our team has specialized industry education and prior work experience with major firms like Wells Fargo, Apple, Kaiser, Hilton, Marriott, Stanford University, or UC San Francisco. We have diverse personal hobbies which further enhance our work, including fine art, makeup, photography, costuming, and travel.

Places We Made a Spectacle

Our team members have negotiated and executed multi-year performance contracts with venues such as the Ontario, San Jose and Santa Clara Convention Centers. We’ve also overseen conference hotel room-night sales and housing for thousands of hotel guests overnight during our events, including at DoubleTree, Hyatt, Marriott, Fairmont, and Hilton Hotels.

Over the past several years, Lost City Consulting has been trusted to design and produce events where visibility, credibility, and experience matter. Our work spans civic summits, large-scale public festivals, and highly curated private gatherings—often at the intersection of government, industry, and community. Highlights include the Pacific Hydrogen Strategic Alliance Summit, produced in partnership with the Cities of Lancaster, CA and Namie, Japan in conjunction with US Dept of Energy industry leaders.

We’ve executed a first public hydrogen company kickoff celebration with the City of Industry. We’re the go – to partner for multiple State of the City events, featuring an array of bleeding-edge robotics, immersive staging, and innovative stage design. We’ve also led major redesigns of cornerstone public events, including ongoing production of annual Spring Business Economic Summits, and several activations for the AV Fair / Lancaster Poppy Festivals, helping modernize experiences while respecting legacy and tradition.

We’ve even established a full merchandise booth and retail operation for the San Joaquin County Fair; creating salable, logo-branded assets to extend the fair’s identity beyond the midway. We also produce intimate and unconventional gatherings such as Sharks Dining with Sharks, an entrepreneur dinner at the Monterey Bay Aquarium; a 1920’s casino night at the Hiller Aviation Museum; and dozens of business club and executive networking dinners throughout the California Bay Area.

Whether the audience is a head of state, a fair board, or a room of founders and investors, our work is consistent: thoughtful design, operational discipline, and the quiet confidence that everything will work exactly as it should.

Our Why

We get out of bed in the morning to make & experience new things.

We’d say we’re dreamers, but we have enough common sense to know we aren’t the only ones.

The only thing we compare ourselves to is yesterday.

We care.

We believe anything can happen with hard work & coffee.

Our play takes effort, patience, & practice.

We’re just built this way.

Get to know us better.
